Goal + Overview
Sell the remaining seats for an art retreat in Italy, and create a piece of reusable content.
Process - Assemble material & edit
- Initial discussion: A quick chat over the phone with Gayle to establish goals, scope, and additional project details.
- Goals: Gayle and Jennifer wanted the video to feel fun, exciting, and “magical.” To show the lasting friendships that can be formed during these retreats, and the transformation of their student’s art skills.
- Material: Gayle and Jennifer provided me with a library of video clips and still images taken during their past art retreats.
- Music: I sent Gayle a selection of instrumental music tracks to choose from.
- Editing: with videos, stills, music, and an understanding of the project goals, I began assembly of the first cut.
- Iteration and delivery: over the next week we worked back and forth to refine the video and final deliverables required.
Results
The remaining tickets sold out within just a few days! The video has now garnered over 3,000 views across various social platforms.
